Workforce Retention – What Works Today? Speaker: Gardner Carrick, Vice President, National Association of Manufacturers Following Jason Dorsey’s insights on recruiting the new generation of workforce and Millennials on the Move to Management, the next critical element voiced by our member companies is Retention. We often hear “Our team successfully recruited new employees, but now we need proven tactics to keep them in our organization and support their career growth.” In response to this concern, Gardner Carrick, from NAM, will shed light on key issues affecting retention. These include addressing the workforce split, where factory team members don’t have the ability to work from home one or two days a week. Additionally, we will explore strategies to engage newer employees effectively, reducing the likelihood of them leaving for the next shiny new job opportunity they see online.
